Truffle Ice Cream

Yes, it had to happen eventually.  There’s a wonderful recipe here.  Including a beautiful photo of a lucky little dog, one I hope to make a small homage to and if you are lucky I will be posting pictures.

update: of course, like most recipes, that one is too sweet!  just for the record the main ingredient was fresh cream, then egg yolks and truffle (30g) with a very small quantity of honey – about one teaspoon per serve.  Xylitol would probably work well here instead of honey although of course, not possible to share with the dog!
