Oh, the abomination that is Low Carb Desserts…  I struggled along with some kind of meringue this morning to try to cheer up Lentilla who was hankering hard for a pavlova.  Anyway, after that literal and metaphorical flop I made a good breakfast, and here is a picture of it.

It is smoked kippers (from a tin) and mushrooms fried in butter, with flat leaf parsley and sage.

I took this picture with Lentilla’s camera.  She has the instructions written out for me step by step.  The instructions are very clear.  Even, I thought,  a little too clear with the obvious implication that they were written for a fool.
